I don't know anything about these photos
other than my grandfather and his brother used to play for Lytham along
with their cousin Harold "Codge" Parkinson who was the Lytham lifeboat
Coxswain in the 1960ts. I know Codge played full back but he is not in
these photos. Apparently there used to be 3 or 4 Parkinsons playing on
the field for Lytham in some games.
I would love to get further information on the photos however small.
Where the photos were taken, approximate date of the photos, names of
other players etc. Anything at all.

In the above photo my grandfather and his brother are on the left next
to the guy in the flat cap. My grandfather Edward Parkinson "Red'un" is
kneeling at the front and his brother James Parkinson "Skilly" is stood
behind him.

In the second photo my grandfather is stood next to the guy with the
flat cap on the left of the photo and his brother James is three players
along next to the goalie.
(My grandfather was known as "Red'un" because he had red hair. His
brother James was known as Skilly as was their father before them
and James was also called "black jimmy" by some because of his
dark complexion apparently.)
Karen.
