1875. MONTAUBAN PREPARATORY SCHOOL FOR BOYS, 1, South Drive (Clifton Drive South). Founded by the Misses Surr. By 1884, Miss Surr & Miss M.J. Shotton. By 1887, the Misses Hall. The school closed sometime between 1912 & 1924. This building was converted to shops which today include Harwood's Newsagent ans St.Annes Fish Restaurant.
