Saxonholme School

Existing in 1895. SAXONHOLME SCHOOL, St.Anne's Rd West (1895).

It later moved to premises on the corner of South Promenade and Derbe Rd (pictured). The Misses M.& A. Ashburner were principals in 1903 & 1924.

In 1930, Mrs. E.D. Thornley, B.A. & Mr. F.Thornley, B.A. The school amalgamated with ST.ANNE'S COLLEGE FOR GIRLS in the early 1930's.
